Applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during study abroad term.

Scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year for U.S. citizen undergraduates to study abroad. Award amounts vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award approximately $4,000. Recipients must use the award to defray eligible study-abroad costs, including program tuition, room and board, books, local transportation, insurance, and international airfare.

It is highly recommended that students wishing to apply for this award contact a study abroad advisor in the Study Abroad office at (305) 284-3434 or before beginning the application process.
