The Honors Day Convocation is a special event for our undergraduates who have graduated in December 2017 or plan to graduate in May or Summer 2018 and their guests. The participation of members of the faculty in the academic procession emphasizes the value and importance of the guidance, leadership and support given to our students.

Formation of Academic Procession for Faculty

The academic procession, consisting of the Provost, Dean of Undergraduate Education, Deans of the various schools and colleges, participating faculty, and Board of Trustee members, will assemble in the Fieldhouse Multipurpose Room at the Watsco Center at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018. The Grand Marshal will lead the academic procession into the Watsco Center at 11:00 a.m.

Faculty Regalia Orders and RSVP

Faculty participating in the academic procession must RSVP by the deadline provided in the email (honorsprogram@miami.edu) invitation to reserve their seat. Regalia is worn by participating faculty. Faculty who do not own regalia can order their regalia online at www.miami.edu/capandgown.
