Mentoring Program

The goal of the Empower Me First Mentoring Program is to connect first-generation students with a  faculty or staff mentor to assist in building social capital on campus and beyond. The program aims to provide an additional measure of personal and academic support for students as they navigate their college experience at the University of Miami and navigate their pursuit of careers or graduate and professional school.

The program is open to first-generation sophomores and juniors.

The Empower Me First mentoring program applications for 2018-2019 will be available September 1 - September 16, 2018.
