Empower Me First Graduate Student

Christian Braden

Christian Braden is a graduate student from Memphis, TN. After having graduated from the University of Miami in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, she is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation. Her previous experiences in teaching and mentoring underrepresented students have influenced her interest in helping others reach their full potential. Through her assistantship, she hopes to create a pipeline between first gen/underrepresented students and the numerous resources that are available on campus, with the hopes of enhancing the collegiate experiences of these students. In the summer of 2018, she will begin working full-time as a tax consultant for Deloitte in Miami, and hopes to one day pursue a career in consulting non-profits in the nation’s capital.
